I'm pretty sure, League of Legends uses a custom version, not to mention Big Rigs, wich used a really early version of the Engine.

U forget this:
Eclipse Engine 3.0 = Infestation
They changed the Engine to Dx10 ( like "new graphic settings" of game ) and add more stuff ( like u see on California Map )

i never see... since if u try search on google about Ecplise Engine u dont see nothing....

This thread might be old but I will post this, some of the Developers were working in LoL maybe that is why they chose it and not other engine... Who knows...
