[General] What are they planning

So as we all know the infestation devs always do something big but what are they planning?

i looked through some of their files and stumbled upon a file a .xml called aidb normaly i wouldnt jump to conclusions but AI and DB sounds like AI DATABASE
figured it was a upgraded zombie file but looked more into it and i honsestly cant tell tell me why you all think

I once played, saw a single zombie near a house, aggro-ed it, and it "flanked" behind the house and lost it's aggro... AI at its finest

Yea victor flanking zombies are in. Or was. Not sure if they are anymore.
And yes animals will be added to ISS soon. Hopefully I can beat em to it.

Nice work on the firepit, cool idea. Animals are meh considering they are released on this fourm(buggy yeah but abit of work can fix them. Majority is done). Don't see animals coming to I:SS anytime soon, as they hardly have cars working properly.

Yeah, I rewrote the animals code from scratch. I didn't like what was posted on the forums at all. The animals actually have their own spawner in our version and they have random roam when you get too close to them. They also idly move and I had state support for animals to 'graze' at some point, but since DeadZ isn't a game that focuses on PVE, I scrapped that and am trying to go for a more simpler approach by making deer themselves random, the meat obtained by them valuable, and a minigame that doesn't require too much effort to do to reward the player for actually cooking the meat.

Basically, they mirror the zombies in a way, except instead of running to you, they run away from you. When they can't detect you (from visual states, sound, or airhorns) they will stop running. They also now propogate position updates properly between clients; previously in the RZ release they did not.

You know deer is useless animal in Infestation... Because none in this game actually tries to scavenge for food. The only thing what people want is just a weapon.

The meat that you can cook in DeadZ actually restores 50 stamina, 50 food, 50 water, and 50 health all in one go, but the meat follows the medkit cooldown.

There's a reason to actually find and hunt deer in our game as it could strategically be beneficial to save the meat for a heated firefight.
