[HELP/OPINION]Windows Server 2008R2 vs Windows 7

So i setup my WarZ Source on VM using windows server 2008r2 but after further exploration i found out that some people actually use windows 7 for their servers. Now i'm just curious if is there any advantages in the long run in using windows server 2008r2 over windows7 or if it is the other way around.

Windows 7 use more CPU and more... and is not optimised for make server 24h/24

In 3 years i have used only WS 2012. Is good and the best for WarZ (for me).
With the services at your disposal to help with protections and other things.With only 8 gb of ram with 100 players and only 47% cpu.(just know how to configure)Hope you get it and good luck.

windows 7 works tho use's more cpu power for the os so i use windows server
