Hi everyone, I played habbo back in the day and rarely come back to this forum anymore, but I did come across this post on habbo's facebook today. Just wondering what you guys think of it.

So what do you think of it? Is it a taunt? A hint that they might implement something to bring back those who enjoyed casinos? Either way I felt the post was unnecessary and kind of mean in a sense.

I mean, it's not like there's really a purpose for casinos anymore. 90% of the time it was just a way to scam or show off how many items you've racked up by filling a 20x20 room with 2000 items. Also, "rares" aren't even rare anymore, and builder's club destroyed any purpose of collecting norms. Habbo is literally just for making friends and building rooms at this point.

I mean, let's be honest though, they were sitting on a huge lawsuit waiting to happen for years that they didn't even realize until Singapore made a big stink or something. For years, kids all over the world were spending real money on virtual currency to gamble in a game that had no regulations on gambling what-so-ever. In fact, for a while, Sulake & Habbo ruled it as play at your own risk. They're just lucky they didn't get caught before the rule change.
