Okay, so let's discuss "Habbo's target audience"...

Right, so we all know how Habbo's target audience is young tweens, from ages 13-17 (let's say) - and yes though majority of players may be under 18 there are still a lot of players, and ex-players that are over 17. Saying this, does anyone else think that maybe Habbo should also be targeting older players aswell as the younger ones; because yes Habbo's a game for younger kids there are still a lot of older players and by implementing all these word filters/social media bans, etc.. It's really limiting what you can do on Habbo.

Right, so I know what I'm saying might be stupid, obvious or just out of the ballpark... But maybe Habbo should be also targeting older players, maybe the ban of casinos was a wrong idea. Maybe they should be aiming in the direction to attract older players, ones that will invest in the game for items. By saying this, it will allow Habbo to have an economy again, since it turned to poop when they banned gambling of every sort.

If most of you remember, Habbo was going quite well before the merge, they lost I'd say 80%+ of their community.. But they really did kick themselves in the teeth after the mute & after removing casinos. They're looking in the wrong direction, what they once thought a good idea turned horrible. Removing casinos was one of the worst decisions simply because they would then see a dramatic drop in trading, rare value and economy. While all this is happening, they've also introduced Builders Club (I don't mean recently introduced) which then again declines trading within the game, meaning a slower economy.

Everyone has their own opinions on what really killed Habbo, but if they want to at least start redeeming themselves; they really need to be more wide-scope. They need to target not only the young ones, but the older people. And they need to organize something where users will be allowed to run casino's again, because for them to have allowed casinos all these other years, surely there's some way of bringing them back. Yes, it's dead hope, heck what do I care, I don't even play Habbo.com anymore. But it's something I would like to see everyone's opinions on. I believe this topic hasn't been discussed much, if at all.

Do you think that if Habbo targets older people, it will attract a more steady user base? Or are they really about to bite the bullet this time?
