I played habbo since 2004.. Retros even longer. I've seen everything, met a ton of great people, and moved on. I can't seem to find any reason to be sucked back in other than gambling but sadly.. hotels now really dont have many booming gambling communities. So.. I had an idea.

A while ago i made an r63 hotel and just did a ton of editing with ranks, furni, cata, etc. The hotel was bed on a hotel and casino rather than a hotel where anything goes.. The main rooms were casinos ran buy dealer ranked users. I had a currency system worked out beautifully.. it just never took off.

I'm really on my last leg here asking anyone out there if they miss the old habbo.. just filled with gamblers scammers and rich people. if you do maybe we can link up and build a team of people to build a gambling type hotel? i dont know.. its a long shot.

the only way to get intouch with me is the "kik" app. my username is "antaor92"
I dont check these messages at all.. so this is really just a hail mary one last time shot to see if theres anyone out there.

thanks

A little late and all but if you end up seeing this contact me. I've never developed a retro before but I'm a Comp Science major who started playing Habbo around 2004-2005 and have recently realized that the retro scene needs saving especially as flash starts to get phased out by browsers.

It must be 'luck', but when I see retro spam in the one I play and join to see how it is, I usually find gambling in the only active room of those tiny retros.

The one I play has gamblers, and I don't know if it was like this in the old days, but almost all of them are scammers, you can't trust anybody.

I completely disagree with the author's message, as the gambling economy is only gaining momentum. New casinos are opening in Japan, as well as in California and Las Vegas. Online casinos and online poker are becoming more and more popular on the Internet. I personally earn money on active bonuses of such sites. I think that now is the peak of the gambling economy, but not its fall and end.

The post refers to Habbo gambling economy, this is Habbo section. Outside of Habbo, of course it's increasing.

EDIT: I just realized this post is 3 years old and you bumped it :p
