Takeoverkyle - [GMS]v178 - V: Limitless Patch Notes - RaGEZONE Forums

To prepare for the upcoming 5th Job Advancement, the V: Limitless update brings you several limited-time events! Get a leg up on the competition and quickly level up and earn special in-game gift packs! This update also brings a host of major system changes and game improvements such as improved quest rewards, UI changes, and a permanent leveling curve reduction!

NEW CONTENT

UI Revamp
  • The UI has been changed! The old interface was cluttered, and the new design is meant to give a bit more control over what is on your HUD. Do you want more keys to show? It's a click away. Do you want to hide them? Another click. There are also new cool-looking icons and some new functionality.

Some changes implemented include:
  • Added some shortcut key functions to the menu. (Monster Collection, Daily Gift).
  • Added an option to expand or collapse hotkeys with a small arrow controlling this feature. Expanding it will cause the icons for the Cash Shop, Event info and Settings to be hidden.
  • The character's status window has been centered.
  • Adjusted the EXP bar's appearance and length.

Chat Window
  • The chat window's default size has changed.
  • Added a combat tab for the chat window.

  • The region's Map can now be seen by selecting it through a dropdown menu.

  • How To Search

There are two ways to search:
  • The 'Quick Search' option - This allows you look to for a specific item immediately.
  • Or use the 'Search' feature in each of the sections.
  • Pro-Tip: Just clicking on the 'Search 'button in any of the sections will populate all items that are listed.

How to Buy
  • Once you know what you want, buying the item is easy.
  • Click on the item that you want to buy that is populated in the list.
  • Click on the 'Buy' button in the bottom right of the screen.
  • A confirmation window will appear.
  • Click the 'OK' button, and you have bought your item.
  • You have to click on the 'Transaction' tab, and 'Collect' the item.

How To Sell
  • If you have many items that you would like to sell, that process is easy too.
  • Click on the 'Sell' tab.
  • The same five sections in your inventory are listed in this UI.
  • Every item that has a white background can be put up for sale.
  • Every item that has a gray background cannot be sold.
  • Simply click and drag the item you wish to sell into the 'Sell' area.
  • Once there, set up the item amount and the price.
  • Click on the 'List Item' button, and the item is up for sale.

Character Name Change
  • With the new Character Name Change option, you will be able to instantly change your character's name by talking to NPC Mr. Newname, located in the Event Hall.
  • You need a Character Name Change Coupon to change your name. During the event period, you can purchase a single Character Name Change Coupon from the V Coin Shop.
  • The Character Name Change Coupon can also be purchased from the Cash Shop for 15,000 NX, starting later in December.
  • Your new name will be applied instantly after you log out and log back in to MapleStory.
  • You can only change your character's name once per week. Be sure to give your new name some thought!
