Can't believe they would announce something like that this early in their Premium service.
Then again, my friend who has no life at all just hit Colonel 100 the other day. So, I guess he needs something else to play now.

Fuck this shit. Sick of EA (and other game developers) just throwing same game at the people.
I honestly will not buy anything from EA anymore. Their frostbite engine is nice but nothing has been done about shitty lag and around the corner kill. Sticking with F2P

Lag? Well FB2 is designed to push your system to the max but I've never had any problems with lag and I run at pretty high settings. A 3870x2 w/ a 3.0ghz QX6700 ran the game without lag on 1200p with everything set to high and FXAA. My laptop which was a i7 2630qm (and later a 2920xm) with a 6990m (about as good as a 6870 or 550ti) ran it at all settings set to ultra and FXAA on 1080p without any lag. And my new desktop (i5 2500k @ 4.0ghz and now i7 3770k @4.1ghz) just murders the game at all settings maxed out on 1080p. So just make sure you have good hardware if you want it lag free, and even then anything "gamer" grade ($250+ video card) will run it with out any problems at 1080p. And make sure you have a good internet connection. You cannot play it with anything under 10mb.

As for around the corner kills, I've never had an issue with that and I play the game all the time. Only times when shit like that happens is when people get the latest hacks and use them before they are patched out. And even then, those people are banned within 5 mins on large servers.

It's not hard to know that the next one will be out then. They typically release a new game every other year and they are announcing it for Fall 2013.

I have 2500k with 680 sli. Also play on high (not max) settings with 25mb/25mb connection. Usually my ping is up to 20ms (play on local servers). They lag I speak of is the one from gameplay. Kill behind cover is one of the examples.

With a system like that and a connection like that then you shouldn't have any form of lag. The only lad I ever have is server side connections when the ping shoots up on their end affecting all the users. Have you tried checking your cooling? Thing throttle under heavy load if your cooling isn't up to par, and that's a major issues with dual card setups. Also how is the power load on your PSU? That's another major source of throttling. And what kind of TSRs are you running in the background eating at your resources? And most of all, have you tried running it on a single card setup? Believe it or not, many times dual card setups cases massive lag spikes for no apparent reason at all. I know this from example as I've ran dual cards since they came out up until this current generation of cards when I said "fuck this shit" from all the headaches it cases for no reasons at all... Not to mention a single 7970 or 680 can run any game maxed out and most of the times, maxed out across 3x 1080p screen. Making the need for dual cards even less.
