Madden Franchise

Do you enjoy EA Sport's Madden Franchise?
I'm just wondering because it is really popular in my area and I'm wondering if it has some popularity where you guys live.

No 1 plays sports games in my area... I guess they got sick of em...To many damn versions keep coming out. Madden 2003 then 2004. Basically same shit~~~ gets boring. I havnt played a sports game on pc/ps2 since Fifa 2000. The rest is the same shit , just with new gfx sold back to you:P
But of course I dont buy games~only rent and burn hehe ,ps2 modded (Magic 3.6 Chip-No Swap!-)

Just burned Driver 3 for Ps2~Horrible game , wasted a dvd-r on it... GTA-Vice City beats its ass~! Owell added to the collection heh.

your badly mistaken. MANY (too many to even list here) changes occur every year. two of the main ones are players retire and players die. other new things include new madden cards, new stadiums, and new customization features (like this year they are making the Create-A-Fan feature). other things this year and in 2004 include training camp where you actually have to work your aim by throwing a ball into a small hole (not easy) and then get points by doing it to get a madden card booster pack, and a playmaker feature where you can actually control the field.

another big thing is the new hitstick feature. with the hitstick you actually to have skill to tackle, sack, dive, and throw. you use the right analog stick and move it at a certain rate and direction.

other things include new sky details. madden 2000-2003 were very.. lacking.. when it came to the skies, therefore they pretty much hid the camera from looking in that direction. in madden 2005 the skies will actually be extremely detailed (im talking they look like far cry's skies) in whatever weather there will be.

another thing about madden 2005 is the expanded franchise mode which i am really looking forward to. in expanded franchise you can actually:
- Customize your stadium from head to toe (not like in recent versions, i mean actually say where seats are, change the height and appearance of the grass, etc)
- Set parking prices
- Set fast food prices
- Set ticket prices
- Depending on how your team does, people will come to your stadium or not
- Hire cheerleaders
- Hire mascots
- Hire trainers

but, the biggest thing of all this year is online play. online play beats everything. with player rankings, etc, and you can even trade madden cards online (many of the cards this year are actually going to be super rare.. as in.. 1 super rare card in every 10000 card booster packs). you will be able to play for cards online as well.

as you can see, many changes have taken place since the recent versions of the game =P

I enjoyed it a bit, I don't play madden's as much, but I think it's a cool game none the less.

a lot of people dont really enjoy it because they dont know theres a way to change the difficulty.. the game is defaultly set to play Pro on all versions.
