I've also always been a massive Call of Duty fan, I'm not getting it tomorrow as I had already invested in BattleField 3, I must say I regret it as it was my first ever Battlefield, personally I don't have anything wrong with Battlefield and the game is great - But somehow I feel left out, like I've made a mistake. Nevertheless, I'm definitely getting Modern Warfare 3 for Christmas.

Just picked MW3 up, and I can assure you that you made the right choice.

Oh boy, why does this game look SO bad on the pc, it's actually really bad.

I wonder how much Activi$ion paid to get some nice reviews.

It's rubbish really. It's exactly the same game as MW2, same graphics, everything the same, but a different story.

Without being a fan boy and having tried both, I can honestly say that BF3 blows MW3 out of the water.

Just looked at the videos. And guess what!? It looks EXACTLY the same as MW2. The sounds, menu, graphics style. Exactly same as in MW2.

This is the kind of people activision is looking for. They could just release huge DLC pack with maps, guns and maybe throw in few good updates. DLC cost: $20-30, MW3 Cost: $60

Dear god guys come on guys graphics, sounds, menu, text color isn't the only thing to the game!

There is a story and there is multiplayer so either enjoy the game or don't buy it just because it doesn't have beastly 3D graphics or the Ak 47 has the same sound.

I enjoyed playing some of the multiplayer and noticed it's way better than the previous CoDs I find.

I do not feel for the exact replica of COD: MW2. Added the new modes, weapons and all those other stuff.

It is an exact replica of MW2, even Activision says so.

Activision played smart, Black OPS was not that good and "fans" kept playing MW2.
I won't buy this game, I have a downloaded MW2 on my pc..

Personally, I hated MW2. So I don't particularly want to pay £40 for a crappy re-make of a game I hated.

Love the new maps, although I havent played all of them, and have only played abould 45 mins, they are awesome. They flow really well.

Only thing: THE Ducking ANNOYING RIOT CONTROL!

MW2 still only has ~20k users peak on steam. I'm sure MW3 won't be much higher.
