[PC]ENEMY TERRITORY : QUAKE WARS - Run Lan server Over Internet

How can i run a lan server of ENEMY TERRITORY : QUAKE WARS over internet, so my friends can connect using direct conect with a offline user?
Without hamachi or similar, only server side softs or configs.

What's wrong with just hosting it online with a password and getting your friends to connect to it... ?
