[Tutorial] How to change the news window

Hi all,

This a simple guide that show you how to change the "news" page that appear before Login in the game

First of all you need to download an image-editing program like DDS Converter

You must be registered to see links

(you can find other links in this thread http://forum.ragezone.com/f828/ger-howto-change-mainloading-screen-949631/ )

Then you have to Convert the file "OutNotice.tga" located in EngineWar/Texture/UI/Notice into .jpg or .jpeg

You can modify it with paint doing your personal news page.

Finally you have to convert your personal image into .tga and locate in same folder (EngineWar/Texture/UI/Notice). If you open the game you will see your image xD

Ps: you can modify the resolution of the image too. It's not necessary to keep it 512x512 pixel

it's the same I posted the DDS converter (that works with TGA, too) because I have downloaded it when I edited the mainloading screen

.tga supported by (epic hard) paint new news for me.... i only use(d) gimp for .tga

Yes, you can edit dds and tga with Paint.NET, it work.
