The only time I've seen: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2 "No such file or directory") is when I've run out of disk space... I think the mysql server creates the file mysql.sock on startup.
Make a reg page public, just share the public IP or use something like

I have using your image with the VMware.. i have increase the RAM from 1.5GB to 2GB the Disk from 10GB to 30GB.. and still same..
i cheked on the MySQL, there aren-t a file called "mysql.sock"
How do i can make a reg page public?... i really too bad on html/php >_<
also... I have edited all the whole game.. but..how i do increase the max gold space?, in the game i only able to hold 20k on bag.. i can't find the file to do that...

is too hard, but all that is on GS. i did increase to 200k..
now i need open other map, as Inferna or something..
i-ve the cords for inferna and i did edited a teleport, but it dont teleport me... idk why...

Nice guide kinda easy when u read all the post as most is being asked by other players ^^
Any ways i got the server up an running weird is when i added this stuff into VMware the second line u tell us to change /var/www/includes/ config.php Isent there i can find the Var an ww folder but includes is not there at all hard to change the config files as they arent there

Any ways i got it started with out doing that i think thats why im haveing problems
My problem is when i try to connect it says its in maintaince mode verify ur files it asks me
ive looked it up an tride copying the client patch files about 20 times an changed the ip its still the same problem

Setup Time
Launch VirtualBox and go to
File > Import appliance
Browse to Ether Saga Odyssey V504.ova
Setup the virtual box to meet you needs: Ram, number of CPU's, ect ect:
Just leave the network as bridged.

start the machine and login!

PASSWORDS
Ubuntu:
username: root| password: ragezone
phpmyadmin user: root | password: ragezone
phpmyadmin .htaccess: username: ragezone | password: ragezone
this info is stored in /usr/local/bin .htpasswd

see a pattern emerging?

use the command: ifconfig and note down the IP
ssh into the server with IP: port22: root: ragezone

change the ips in the following files:
/root/kdxy/glinkd/ gamesys.conf | there are 4 ips needed to be changed from 192.168.1.3 to match your ifconfig
/var/www/includes/ config.php 1 ip needs changing to match your ifconfig
also change the server name to a name of your choosing I put Ragezone as an example

Fix to stop AV going nuts

unzip and copy fix.sh to /root
chmod 755 fix.sh
then run ./fix.sh

CLIENT:
copy the files from the patch folder and change the IP in "element/userdata/server/serverlist.txt" to the ip you have from ifconfig.

OPEN TO WAN:
open port 29000 and port 80 in your router for the IP given in ifconfig
now add the IP from

to serverlist.txt and give it to your friends (dont forget to give them the patch!)
or use a service such as

and use a hostname E.g ragezonerocks.no-ip.me
