need help in a few things

Hi i have been trying to make a CP using Ceres Control Panel it seem's to work fine i'm using xampp to host it - no idea if thats the best one to use if not please do tell -

anyhow what i want to know is what ports do i have to setup for the CP on my router i have all the server one's already added and the server seem's to load fine so i think everything is working - now i can go to my CP by typing 10.0.0.X tho when i type my no-op.org one it asks my login and password to enter my router ?? lol what? is that even right? so yeah what did i do wrong? does it work if i send the link to another person i have not yet tried this cause i don't want to waste time if i do have to add ports - now my other question is i have Ragray nstalled/fully updated and i have downloaded a new data folder and 2010-07-07bRagexeRE Patched exe now the exe opens i login but when i get to character select it errors i don't really get to that part i just press login select the server and then i just get this errorr

-now i have another server already installed is this why its erroring lol - now i am redownloading the ragray installer cause i deleted it so i think its best to just install a new one - if thats not why it's doing that then please do tell

my last question is what is the best updater to use for my server aswell what program do i use to make my data folder to a grf

i know this is alot of questions tho i'm kinda new to this i haven't made a server for like 6 years lol - so yeah if you know any of this please do post Thank you

I'm telling you about control panel only

well..

try to use abyserver

then use stars game control panel SGCP

is more easy

About CP and and webserver ...i agree with nickishurt . Use SGCP and Abyss webserver is more easier .

about your client , try using xray or latest ragexe make sure the the client packet version is same with your map server packet version.
