Please note that these are subject to change without prior notice, you're responsible to keep yourself updated regarding, unless you want to end up being infraction banned.

Please also note that the RaGEZONE forum rules still applies in this section, you'll find those here: Forum Rules - RaGEZONE forums

1. Do NOT advertise in this section. There's a advertisement section used for that, and all post related to this subject should and must be placed there. You should also know that it's prohibited advertising your server in your signature. You could however, link to the advertisement thread. Advertisement section: Private Servers - MMO Zone - RaGEZONE forums

2. Do not double post. If you have any valid/additional information to add, please feel free to use the edit function and include the information you left out.

3. Do not ask off-topic questions in release, development or tutorial threads! If you have a question, kindly make use of our help section instead.
Please also refrain from going off topic to the original thread. Going off topic and spamming will be considered as a rule violation.

4. Constructive criticism is fully allowed, but to a certain extent. Flame wars, insults and troll posts will not be tolerated and will result in immediate infraction.

5. Any showcase threads and/or development threads can be posted in the development section. Please however, use the following tags: [Development] / [Showcase]. A development thread is something shared to the community, which in the end of the development process/phase will be released. Showcase however, is a personal project you'd like to show to the rest of the community.

6. Give credit wherever possible. Don't claim as your own work if it is not.

7. No help thread should be paid work, RaGEZONE is a free resource and any help given should be free, thread starter or the person helping shouldn't ask or provide payment.

8. Spam which does not contribute to the thread will be deleted.

9. You are not allowed to post / ask for contact details (Skype, E-Mail, etc.)

10. Do not post help requests or answers which bring the topic off the forum. This includes but not limited: TeamViewer support requests, Skype support requests, requests for Private Messages. Keep the discussion on the board.

11. Do not post duplicates! Every post whose exact topic can be found using the search function counts as duplicate.

12. Use descriptive titles. Thread titles which do not make clear what your topic is about, like "Help me", "Help pls", "SQL", "Game", ... are invalid and will be renamed or removed without further warning. Give your thread a descriptive title like "[Help] How get the ... character to work with ...?" or "[Release] Database Character Editor"

13. You are required to provide a virus scan for every file included in your post. Check what you release BEFORE you release it. You are responsible for the things you post. The punishment for releasing malicious files is a 90 day ban.

-------------
IF YOU SEE ANYONE BREAKING THE RULES ABOVE, FEEL FREE TO LEAVE A REPORT FOR ME TO SEE. THIS CAN BE DONE BY CLICKING THE REPORT ICON IN THE LOW LEFT CORNER OF EVERY POST. LOOK FOR THE FOLLOWING ICON:

. THANKS FOR HELPING ME CLEANING THIS SECTION!

-------------

Exclusive tip, to make your stay here A LOT easier: The search function is your best friend throughout your stay at the Dragon Nest section. Creating a help thread asking questions that have already been answered many times before is only a waste of time. Doing a proper search however, only takes you a minute or two. As a result of that, you won't have to wait several hours before getting your question answered.

Lastly, please use common sense while posting on this forum. I won't be listing out every obvious rule violation in this thread, so think before you act. If you have any further questions or feel that a moderator needs to be contacted, feel free to contact me using the private message function.

Thanks for staying up to date on the section rules. It'll be a lot easier and a lot more fun if you managed to follow them as well. In fact, you have to.

Detox.

Re: Dragon Nest section rules | 24.05.2017

As of the 24th of May 2017, you are allowed to revive an old topic, if your reply contributes to it. Contributing posts are:

  • Requests for re-uploads if a link went down (a single request is enough, don't spam it)
  • Re-uploads of dead links / files
  • Fixes for released files
  • Constructive questions and answers related to the release/tutorial/development
  • Updates of your release/tutorial/development
If in question, create a new topic in the Help Section to keep spam as little as possible.

Please take note and keep yourself updated with future rule changes.
Thanks.

As of the 18th of November 2017, you are required to provide a virus scan together with every and any file you include / release in your post. This is mainly due to the large amount of ramnit virus infected releases here lately.

Thanks for taking care.
