TUT:

1) Download and install XAMPP and

2) Start Apache and MySQL

3) Now comes the part why noone loads...

• Go to C:/xampp/apache/conf/extra/ and open asp.conf
• Change the info there to

          AddType application/x-httpd-php .asp
      </IfModule>
     
      <FilesMatch "\.asp$">
          SetHandler application/x-httpd-php
      </FilesMatch>
     
      <Directory "C:/xampp/cgi-bin">

              SetHandler cgi-script
          </FilesMatch>
      </Directory>
  </IfModule>

• Save the file and Restart Xampp

4) Import database, clean wqw_users, wqw_friends and wqw_items ; change server to your info

5) Go to emulators files, change configs to your info

7) Start the server, it should work now.

dated - 7 Aug 2010 - does yours have adjustable rates? coin drops? cuz mine does.
you might as well redirect everyone to the other dev site well not much of a dev site rather den a bunch of mouches but w/e its called "http://cris-is.stylin-on.me/"
the people with the fully complete codes and such aren't releasing them because there trying to sell you them and make money. but maybe someone here can code some simple java can make these better..

by the way is this the source or just the files?

I've got error about no fiel at ../Scripts/mysql_connector.php, it's obvious I'm doing something wrong

I've compiled DarkLiquid_Project by commandline, before that i downloaded Java JDK.

i'm trying to see if i can manage to get it to work on linux, so linux users will have another server

to get new items you need to download firefox sothink to download

and also a trainer which can see the swf. i think <b>hell quest or aqwserios</b> can. so when you go in game usually there will be a way to see the swf and it should show up to be something like /gamefiles/weapons/swords/swordname.swf or soemthing and you could copy the whole thing to your browser and use the sothink to download it.

i haven't done this in a long time but this is the main concept of it.

Done everything as tutorial says but got error "Query failed with error: No database selected" so i've added into default.asp php line "mysql_select_db("aqw")" but got stuck at "Getting client version"

it's me too dumb i don't get the TUT here lol.. i see only AQW.SQL with the server files.. how do i get wqw_items.SQL or wqw_user.SQL from ect... from? im using Navicat to import the database.. please help me out for more understanding hehe. it looks like a fun game. how do i start the server do i need shockwaves software installed?

the server is done in java so you need java to be installed, and the website is incomplete because it's missing index and config files.

here;s the original link disable your java script for you browser and you can download free
for firefox it's in content - says enable script = disable it and you can download free.

Your post wasn't helpfull at all.


First Download Java JDK (google it and download, install)
Then Download and Install XAMPP Panel
Run XAMPP (Apache and MySQL)
Go to XAMPP directory /apache/conf/extras and find asp.conf file
Change content of that file as TUT says
Go to "http://localhost/phpmyadmin"
Create new database called "aqw"
Import AQW.sql file to that db
Now go to XAMPP directory /htdocs/ and copy there all files (game,emulator,protoman)
Run command line "cmd" and go to XAMPP /htdocs/emulator/dist/ and type "java -jar Project_DarkLiquid" the emulator program should pop out.
Start the server
And it SHOULD work as You get to "http://localhost/game/"
