Just as an idea: better do torrents out of your stuff so people share bandwith a bit. Also its at least a bit of a protection against attacks.

Another idea of sharing without a big chance of removing whould be a usenet server. Files crypted with fake names and a list of what is what in here. But this will have you upload all stuff at least once.

As i said. Just ideas. :
