So i ve just tried Rev 34 and all i concluded was that it was just full of missing things, had to create 3 or 4 new columns before being able to start the game than only when actually starting the game, the first NPC i found to buy hats bugged and had to close Dofus to debug, didn t even try restarting, waste of time to start with something like that ;)

What would you recommend for a ideal starting Database?

And possibly a working link, allot of the ones in this thread are starting to become broken. :/

get the svn for the ancestra remake and use that database, there should also not be any problems, but the database is also not completed. meaning npcs,map to map change points, dungeons, and monsters.

i was working on the map to map change points but been busy with other things. plus im gonna need help since there's way too many maps to do alone.

Built a server from the data provided in your previous post omnija, i think it was Rev 30. Works well, a few very disappointing things.

The lake house at (-21, -5) isnt mapped, this is the biggest house in the game. Allot of fights starting positions are inside buildings, making them very hard to kill. Lots of things don't have AI yet. Dung's have too many mobs spawned in each room. Nickname is currently blank on all accounts.

Looks like i need to learn how to fix these issues, if anyone knows how to fix any of these things or a method of doing this please describe.

Ps. Does anyone know how much better rev 34 is then rev 30? does it fix any of these or other issues?

you obviously haven't payed any attention that this is a project in progress and the people who did it chose to use an unstable emulator to begin with. the project has also been dropped and re picked up by multiple people and as i mentioned above the database is also incomplete, and right now 34 is the latest. if you can code in C# i can provide you with a more stable emualtor which is the emultor that should of been coded in the first place, but it's way behind the ancestra version.

this is a patch for alignment/professions and guild

First start your database and apply the patch in "ancestra_static" then copy what is written in the txt file "line add a swf" and paste them into your swf "npc_fr_494"for the npc names and issues / Responses to "dialog_fr_507" then reboot your server and empty your cache and voila you have your npc ^ ^

where can i find npc_fr_494 and dialog_fr_507

I have big problem because i dont know how i can create new npc seller and add to him items i trying modify Bricky Brock but i can't add item with .addnpcitem command (i use SharkEmu latest version) Pleas make for me little solution:D Thanks in Advance

.addnpcitem adds armour to npc i think to add a shop first spawn the npc by going in database npcs: "mapID/npcID/cellID/orientation"
Then to add items go to npc_template and last column ventes and add the items you want the npc to sell. Done!

Hi! I've a problem with my server.

A annoying problem.
I can't show up items anymore in the chat? None of those channels accepts it when I'm trying to add a item to show.
It's saying "You cannot add any more item links to this phrase." IN EVERY CHANNEL!

I've tryed Reboot, empty cache, but I'm not the only who's having this problem, my players are having the same.
Can anyone help me with this? It's annoying, it's not fun. My players can't sell items anymore, I can't show items to my admins. HELP ME PLEASE ! :(

In that case i might go to the library and brush up on my C#, im pretty horrid. And does the ancestra data bases work in your C# emulator? if so ill code maps in my spare time, if you would be willing to teach me an effective method to do this.

anchestra works in java
sharkemu is c#
maps cant be coded but made with a map editor maker and then put in the client and adding the map id and stuff in database

a column in database is missing dont try to add it cos maybe there are many more missing. just reload the sql files and all the patches

i figured out i couldnt add it myself i dont even know how :p
