That is not the error. the error is matrix password cache missing, check the authd table.xml that the mysql IP and password are right. allso the database name on that xml.

TRACE : glinkd::receive matrixpasswd. retcode=8,algorithm=0,matrix=0

means the connection between the account database and server is not working.

whatever he have or not. use pwtools for editing files. setting up new rules and new config file for other element.data is pretty easy. do it urself
