Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

Exists. Sadly is only CoH (not NCSoft version). So is junk...

I would check it out either way... :\ OR even Champions online, or whatever superhero based one...

Hey

Any one figured out how to change the xp rates ?

Regards

I was searching this info for a while, but all i found is 2 Excel Document, with level rates and reward tables, there was xp table too, but IDK where is the program keeping theese files... So no, no simple XP rate change, not to mention the level cap would be a nice one to increase.

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

There is the tutorial for the Star trek online store, it is the same,
read there, and BTW i added an addons for the source there is the how to use part.

Look for the microtransaction files. exploit from the main thread:

For god sake READ people!

"Addons\Microtrans files" - > All microtransaction files to zen store
"Addons\Zen Store FIX" - > How to add items for zen store in db

Enchant works(that is written in the main thread too.), only; you cannot remove items from the socket, but read the first post at the features spoiler man. If you want to apply an item just drag the enchant to the item you want to enchant(it needs to apply to the requirements of the item) but it works. Runes too, and the enchant mixing stuff is working too.

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

Flyer8472,

I asked how do I find items id from nw (like for ex Honor of the Golden Dragon)... as I could not find on any thread and tried to add new items in store... I do know how to add them.

I did dragged an enchant over the item but the enchant button is still grayed out .. Don`t think I did not read before to ask ...

AFAIK you cannot add items W/O correct microtrans files. All you need is a microtrans file for the new item(AKA you have to make it somehow from a similar template) and an ms file with correct values(Mostly text and variables for that item in the store.), so that is no an easy thing... good luck with that...

As for the enchants: For a long i did belived too that is not working, but after a wile i figured out that not all enchant goes into a socket... it is the socket type... for example in a utility socket you cannot put a defense or offense enchant... not to mention if some cases the enchants are too big levels for an item... thats all i can help, as for the source the correct installment of the server enchants are working :\ Oh and ofc you need an item WITH sockets(little recrangles near the item's icon) you cannot enchant items W/O sockets. Also, you cannot put a new enchantment into an existing one in the item.

If not works, try to rebin/rehogg/rebuild the client / server.

Hi,

I was afraid about that microfiles I`ll try to make one and see how is going.

As for the enchants I do know how they working :) I play NW.
I tried to add azure enchant into a def and into a offence slot same thing wont work. I dont have the square where the enchant need to be added. Here is a PS:

Was wondering if you have a small idea about the missing visuals. maybe we can fix it.

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

Yea it would need an UI fix, @DNC was a big master of this, the UI's language is very sucks... A slightest error is literally kills the game....

I belive you are playing nwo, but as i see on the picture you are not Selected the required enchantment, drag it from your inventory ONTO The socket(I MEAN BY ON THE ITEM ITSELF!! THERE IS NO SOCKET PLACE FOR IT UI BUG), or select from the list...(Click on the Equipment dropdown menu) it works for me... thats why i am confused... :\ The enchantment button will glow up then...

Also it would need the enchantment removal button too, becouse that is screwed too...

(BTW i was able to put enchants in my items without needing of this PS window... :\ )

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

Found this

Code:
C:\Night\data\texture_library\ui\Kits\Enchanting_Window

As I read on some websites the .wtex is some kind of pack and inside dds files.

If you have an idea how to extract them... :)

Nah, it is only the texture, the problem is in the script...

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

It is nothing. Never needed it at all. Every source write this thing, even STO.
It is works without it(mine was always showing this). Not mandatory,
i dont even have the idea what this dll is doing XD

Since it is not doing anything wrong, besides it is takes up place
in the window title, never had an intrest...

One thing is sure: The source does not have it.

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

Enchantment: That was what i was telling to you. The second or even third ench: You can do it as the same way as the first. I had never a problem to use any enchantment+Weapon ench. however you cannot remove them from the sockets. THAT interface is buggy. It needs fixing.

The Store: Dont be offended, but... How should *I*(Or we) know?! If you are using out-of-the-box, it is working. The rest: Ask around in sto sections or nwo thread.. We dont see into your machine and into what u r doing... i did used this thingy for almost a half year without ANY of theese problems.

It was an AMD FX eight core CPU+512 GPU AMD with 8 GB ram. it might help to check if the gpu is not good for some reason; or the ram is too few. i dunno, it was working on the mentioned configuration.

The rest: I.D.K.

BTW announcements:

Firstly: As i stated in the main post, i cannot give any more support for this, you have to figure it out you are on your own people from now on. There is the source, there is the resources. There is a very big manual. I cannot help anymore(i dont have time for this btw, i just reshared the whole thing, becouse the original has been gone.) if someone want to know something, ask but i cannot help anymore.

Secondly: If something goes wrong: ask between you people, and in the sto and nwo general help sections. You have all the resources to make this even more good than it is. Recompile, Rebin and try, try, try.

Thirdly: IF someone doing fixes and shares them here, i will gladly update my uploads, but nothing more.

Finally: Sorry to say this but in the future IF no one will help me to mirror theese thing, i wont update it becouse i dont have time / resurces for it. I mean if something goes wrong with mega and they are getting to deleting the files.

I am *not* abandoning this topics, but i will not be active as before.

Respect for all.

Re: Neverwinter Online RE-Relase (Based on DNC'S source)

There is no "version". This was several versions merged together and modified heavily.
The client / server shared by @Flyer8472 work together "only". It will not work with code found in other threads or with official clients.

Yea it is true but the features what is present in the game it is itself sufficient to say that is that matches client/server FEATURE list, not the exact version. As I and DNC said; the server will won't work with anything else, just and only with this client. However the FEATURES in the game matches with the posted relase log for approx. 80%, as seen the shadowmantle back in the day in 2013. BUT THIS IS NOT THE SAME!
