Old thread I know, but I was curious to see if I could translate this, and while I did find the language.xml file, it seems that editing it does absolutely nothing. I've tried different browsers (which ACTUALLY properly support Flash of course), clearing caches, restarting the webserver, etc, but nothing seems to help. I'm starting to believe that it just doesn't even use the language file at all, and that was further backed up by me looking around with linux tools and finding no real connection to the file itself beyond the config linking to it, but I can't find where the config itself is being parsed to see if it even cares that the file is there. It doesn't seem to, as I just straight up deleted it and it didn't seem to care at all. I figured that was because it was cached, so again, nuked my caches just to be sure (I got to the point of doing it for every test). I can easily mirror the files if necessary if someone esle wants to take a look.

Yeeeeeeah no, no there are not, in fact, it's actually way more complicated than just an XML file. There is custom configuration that seemingly needs to be done, and the useful config stuff is zlib compressed and uses the AMF format, so actually taking it apart to reconfigure it so that translation can even be done in the first place has been an absolute bastard and I haven't been successful yet. Clearly, you didn't even try.

Well, I found the solution, it took reading through the entire resource management and configuration management systems to figure it out, and it's very, very simple and I hate how much time I wasted on this.

assets\config\config.xml: insert <packageModel>1</packageModel> into the vars section. That's literally it. It'll bypass all the AMF and byteloading garbage and go straight for loading all the XML files, including language.xml. This simple change took me a good 8 hours to find.

There's no real need for those GM tools honestly, if you enable Debug mode, there's a slew of debugging/GM menus and interfaces in the game to do anything you could possibly want.
