You can unpack client and use it if server has available file config

i know, u need to edit like 5 or more files :- Enviroment , Textures, Visual Effect, SCR_Base, Sounds, Models, Animations and the TextDB

well im not sure...
i didnt just copy the two files from the zone folder... i copy everything... and i didnd do backup so i cant say
backup your “C:\9dragons\GS\nfofile\zone” folder and copy everything from “9Dragons EU\ND_DE\GS\nfofile\zone” to your server

i think its coz one map gate is directing to different maps

did you start server 2 and 1 in the tool or server 22?

Help me about client

I use newest GC Client, i had copy NDTEXTDB_US.XSD and the ndreg.xrg, but, it see 2 Server at GC.

im not sure about the item_table.bit inside the server
dont know if you get any drops on this map (dmg is about 5k with all buffs and pills lol)

the server should be Tao and the other two should not be there

i just extract my gc us folder and copy inside the textdb and the ndreg.xrg (looks like your) and i get only one server

cant remember to edit something else...

another thing, there is no drop in loulan
i think the gc eu release is from the test server, when they test the loulan patch, didnt found any file older then 24.02.2012
(maybe its bugged)


check your hosts file on the client maybe it got overwriten by gg?

Theres some extra files that need to be moved from the EU version to get Loulan and the Quiz area working. You can copy the entire zone and obbdata folder from the EU version to the US version or just copy these files:

hyulsapyung (Bloody Plains) and seojang (Tibet) files need to be updated to the EU version or you will get the multigate error for server 12 and 20. You also need to update hapbi (Hefei) files from EU version or else when you try to load the OX Quiz area you'll just be transferred to BP. Just to clear things up for anyone still having issues, if you do that it works like a charm ty sdoch1.

Ah, I ran into the multigate error and the ox exit loading me to BP so I just copied everything related to Tibet, BP and He Fei since those maps gave me the issues and it worked so it must be just the zone files for those 3 causing the problem. Well I made more work for myself than needed lol.

Edit: Also is it just me or does the map for Loulan seem a bit funky? The exit for BP isn't where it says it is on the map <.<

in any case you can found the Start batch inside the script directory in my share



Tested and the client needs to access the following ports:

80 TCP
50001 TCP
48300 TCP

That's are the only required ports.

Obviously you need to take the following tasks:

- Configure your VM/PC (Wher you're running your 9dragons server) to allow TCP traffic on that ports
- Configure your router to do port forwarding on that ports to your 9d server
- Configure the client (where you run 9dragons client) hosts file to point to your public IP
- Configure the client ndreg to point to your public ip address

That's all, it should work like a charm

when my server firewall is turned on and open TCP/UDP ports: 80, 48300, 50001 i can connect to login server but connect to GAME SERVER is timeout, any suggestion pls?
everything work fine when server firewall turned off.

I can't make my server is online, my firewall is turned off and i open all port. I can't connect to Game Server.

Any one can help me, pls.

I managed to get drops working in Loulan (at least so far with mobs dropping gold, flowstones, ect), I copied the "item_table.bit" from "9Dragons EU\ND_DE\GS\nfofile" to "9Dragons\GS\nfofile". The only problem is you get greeted with the message "[Error: consult GM] Incorrect item data." when you login but the mobs seem to be dropping things now with that added in.
