Is it possible to recreate a game when i only have the client files?

Hi,

I hope this is the right place.

Me and my friend wanna try to recreate a MMORPG but only have the client files. The developer is gone.

I have no idea how to contact the Korean company who made the game.
I also dont know if they even exist.

We have still the client files. Some files like the images and audio had to be decoded first. What else is needed to make a private server? Are the primary server files also needed that it works?

Is there a way to tell the name of the Game engine that wa used to create the game?
