I created a simple Industry portal for online-based industries with many websites.

I was thinking of making a copy but without the hover sliding effect, so just a plain stack of images side by side.
What else would you like to see?

Personally, if I were to see this used anywhere it would be very un-appealing. Portals should catch the browsers eye, not scare them away. Surely, you could produce a more sleek design? Regardless of the design, I like where its heading. :
