Hi, today we going to modify Bohemia’s buildings.
1st thing of what we need to do is install soft for working with PBO, ODOL and MLOD [ODOL and
MLOD is a .P3D]
Programs:
1. PBO Manager [Working with PBO archives]
2. P3D Analyzer [Working with P3D’s (ODOL)]
3. Oxygen 2 Personal Edition can be found in BI Editing Tools 2.5.1 [Bohemia’s editing tools need to work with P3D (MLOD)]
All of that tools need be installed on your computer before you start the modifying models. [If you don’t know how to install, use google to find tutorial about “How to install”].
1st Step. Open “structures_military.pbo” how you can see here is models -.P3D’s, open mil_barracks.p3d with P3D Analyzer. After opening model, we need to extract MLOD and model.cfg. See screenshots…1st thing of what we need to do is install soft for working with PBO, ODOL and MLOD [ODOL and

After extracting, wee need modify model.cfg open that with notepad and find there “Name_Of_Your_Model” than rename that like model name “Mil_Barracks” and save.
Than we need to open model with Oxygen 2 PE. Open.
Go to UV Editor. How you see, 1st UV set is gone, it’s bad. But now 1st what we need to do is sort 0 set. Go and do it right now.
I spend to this 3 hours… to sort that all, how I needed. Ok, and that is here.
And after that hard work, I deleted all of buggy materials and textures.
How we can see, model don’t have textures and materials…
Now we need to add a new textures to building. Like this.
We taking only 1 detail and add to detail texture and than material
After adding applying texture and material to model we need to go to UV Editor and configure texture position on the model detail.
After configuring position, you can see to applied changes in Buldozer
Than like the previous step apply the textures and material to model.
After all, save all your work and copy modelname.p3d and model.cfg in pbo archive to see changes in game.
To create a normal p3d file you need rename ways to materials, because BinPBO not working (or buggy working) with P ways. I renamed way from
strikearena\2fed\buildings_materials\roof.rvmat
to E:\strikearena\2fed\buildings_materials\roof.rvmat
than after building my p3d I rename way in P3D Analyzer.
If you don’t changed the ways to materials you can have this errors in log

Renaming ways in P3D Analyzer
After renaming ways don’t forget to save your model.
After saving you can add model in PBO, go to game and see to model.
