server want start

hello i try to setup my server but cant connect to my server and i dont know why

it dosent matter which version i choose everytime i get the message

"Obtaining Server List..." or "Your version is different from the server; please update your version."

when i get the message i update until i get the message "Obtaining Server List..."

atm i try version 9.5.4.1304.en

but i dont understand when i create a client.exe shortcut and type "NoCheckVersion" why it check the version why cant connect to server

please help me

@horst394 Depends your bins version (account.exe,serverlist.exe,datacenter.exe,etc...) you needs a exactly client version. For 6.0.7 you needs 6.0 client.exe for 6.4 you needs 6.4 client. If you change this your server never works.

hey thanks for your answer i will try it with 6.0.7 i will download the full client
sorry that i answer so late but i was on holiday

now i have a new problem

when i dont start my server i try to connected i dont get the message pls check firewall setting...
no i got the message that i should update my client because its different to server version

Try to disconnect your firewall and test, if your server is for 6.0.7 version you need 6.0.7 client to run correctly. Look if you have correct ini settings on runedev.ini too.

ok thanks for your help i will try it with the offi client because i turn of my firewall and always get the same message update your client...

Do you have created a shortcut with this comand "C:\Program Files (x86)\Runes of Magic\Client.exe" NoCheckVersion?
