Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

weird but like I said I wouldn't worry to much about it since it just logs what happens in game, you try create a "special" account for your server which you could use to let the server connect

what? I dont get it. I dont need the GameLog service to get the game work? How may I connect to the game if cant enter my login details?

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

I cant use Gamelog Release.exe, why?
I hex edited the file but its not uploading the service.

Use to edit the GameLog Release.exe!
DON´T FORGET TO SAVE!
Go and check if there are old GameLog services installed, could be a reason why it don´t show up the Upload message.

Also how can I connect to the server? There is no login screen showing up, only a authentification failed message <.<

Check Step #18.

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

Edit: Still getting Auth fail. I've edited the host file, modified the REST settings right, added a token, added a account. Login debug.txt looks like this:

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

Dunno if this will help but in your .bat file try making your token twenty characters long and having http:// Google.com (remove the space between http:// and Google.com) at the end. If that doesn't work try making a shortcut for Odin.exe and right clicking on it and going to properties. In the target go to the end. You should .exe", add a space and add this in:

-osk_server (your ip address) -osk_token (your twenty character token) -osk_store http:// Google.com (again remove the space between http:// and google.com). Apply that and put it back into your client and load it up. It should work.

If the above fails the only thing I can suggest trying is changing your IP addresses in the config, .bat/shortcut and the rest.shn to either 127.0.0.1 or to your respective internal IP address. If you're not sure what that is (you should be) open up CMD and type in ipconfig and press enter. You'll be looking for the IP address over from IPv4.

If nothing above helps then I can't help any further as this is a mix of what I did and what I was shown through TV. (I still owe you nudes :D)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been able to get it running via 127.0.0.1 but when I change the IP address to a Hamachi IP address I come across the Authentication Failed error again. If someone has a tip there that'd be great but right now it isn't a problem since I can get into the game without using Hamachi.

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

I forgot to mention. When changing your tokens either be sure your services are off or if you've already done it, try restarting them. Had this problem this morning when I was meddling and this fixed it. Hope it does the same for you.

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

I'll try and see if that fixes it

Still didn't fix it, if it matters I am running the server on port 8080

Finally bothered process hunting and killed the stuff that was blocking port 80 and now its working

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

@bennetcat are you running the server on port 80?

@eveyone how can I enable connections through something like hamachi? (do I need the account ip for the person to their hamachi ip in the accounts DB?)

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

Wolfy if you get the solution to running a server with Hamachi without that Authentication Error Please let me know the fix. I too have a local server but would like it Hamachi, thanks in advance.

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

Mk. This is how to run it on Hamachi.

../9Data/ServerInfo/test_ServerInfo.txt = Hamachi IP
../9Data/ServerInfo/test_Manager_ServerInfo.txt = Hamachi IP
../REST/OdinRestServerSettings.shn = 127.0.0.1

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

I changed every single IP address except the patch ip addresses to my hamachi address. Even they didn't need to be changed. I then left the rest .shn IP address as 127.0.0.1. Thanks for Crystalz for the tip.

Re: [v1.2] Odin Install Guide

I'm trying to fix the title bug, does any one know if the title problem is server or client sided error?

also does anyone know what the latest version of fiesta shark is? (found 1.0.1.1 source )

also does anyone know how to fix the weird looking text with names (the red and blue, green and red, etc)
