You mean easiest, and straightforward... ?

As i said like 129830983201 times, ep2 does need dsn , ep3+ doesnt

Sure, I believe in you, then why do the config files mention OCDB?

And why doesn't my server start up properly? D:

Then how come some people have set up EP3 servers?

I'm just one tiny step away from getting it online, but I still can't figure out why PreServer gives me that "can't connect to db" error (followed by LogServer flippin off too).

Check the connectioninformation again. Right IP? Try 192.xxx.xxx.xxx or something else. Right username and so on?

You can use them as they are here, but THEY ARE WRONG. Simply as that. Anyone who actually succeded on running pserver, can say that. Still if you insist that they are proper, that's your call.
