Alright. Im just gonna bring up a basic DoS attack. We all know there are Ducking skids from HF who buy public booters and think its funny to DoS servers. Well there is a way to block certain types of attacks. Im not going to get into depth but you can do your own research.

Your first step is downloading PeerBlock. It's a free program. Click and download it.

Download and install it on your VPS like so and run it. The first time you open it its gonna do updates and blah blah. Once it's done click "View History" on the right. Click the last tab "allowed" and find a poop ton of IP(s) that connected. Right click and go block permanently.

Once again this will not work 100% of the time because their are SSYN attacks and stuff etc.

Havefun.

I'm just waiting for Five to show up and bash on this, you know it's gonna happen if he still visits here sometime.

There is a nice, and superpower firewall in the world like Comodo firewall. it can prevent almost hack attempts and .. it has ddos auto-blocker!
But sometimes, it would catch your server's heavy-users. it is so sensitive.. lol
