I'm not sure your version since you didn't specify, but you can refer to the bottom half of my post here: http://forum.ragezone.com/f921/windows-8-10-client-support-1126357/ I included addresses for some of the common versions (62/75/83/111) as well as the steps to bypass it.

What you're looking for is the ZAPILoader checks. If you don't have a localhost, just hook FindFirstFileA in order to bypass it.
