Configuration for eth0 not found

So here the other day i've been browsing the sections for a guide on AK server setup, and i've got to the point in the VM where i've stumbled upon an error with the eth0 command in the terminal
it keeps saying "Configuration for eth0 not found" and i'm not sure how to resolve this (I'm using CentOs 6.5)

Does anyone have any suggestions/tips for me? i'm really clueless here x_x

try this command; ifup eth0
