WZ How to increase "loot range"?

I wanna make some item icons bigger so that I can Loot it from further away. How does this work?

does the icon origin and image size matter? So if I enlarge the image, can I Loot it from further away?

Yup, increase Loot range to make an item such a meso easier to loot

Changing the size of the item icons would have no effect on loot range. Also the loot range is not in the WZ data, so you'd have to edit the client itself to change the loot range (or use hacks).
