that no one can access your
server remotely. I would
recommend to have Databases
on Separate PC and host on
separate PC so that your
Database PC is secured cos you
dont reveal its IP. What gets
revealed is the Hosting IP!

dude lets say u have 2x PC and think u r host just put SQL server on PC 1 and run everything till zoneagent and run zoneserver on PC 2 i guess tits that way isnt it dheeraj? just guessing :*:

setup a firewall to block connections to SQL server port.

this is easy and effective
when you are making the firewall ON
then making the exception of the ports that server uses like : 7770,8880,9990, etc
you will get the ports in the .ini files in the server folders:thumbup:
