Update:

Got it done a couple of days ago but didn't get time to post it up here. A major problem has been solved. I've got the CM server running and functioning but it keeps on crashing after a lil while of use. Trying to figure out if I made any coding error somewhere. Please wait up for further details.

btw...one question...
will unique sets be a part of the serevr files ?
i knw there are unique sets in part3 files...but they are grossly inclomplete...with only the inventory and 3D models available...but they are with boken attributes....and dont show up when worn ( client prob ??? )...

Just miscombination of server and client files. Thats all. It's a small thing and can be fixed anytime.

But yes, These sets will be a part of the 5.00 server files. All of the bugs that were present in 2.02 server files are fixed in the 5.00 and you will not face any previous errors and glitches.

I am trying to get rid of all the 5.00 glitches too but that is what is taking time. Releasing them without fixing the glitches will only cause havoc on the forums with people spamming for the same reasons over and over again.

SQL Server 2000 Evaluation Edition. The one used for 2.02 itself. I made sure the DB's are run on it.

but client mismatch wont cause broken attributes...would it ??
i mean after identification these sets sometimes have Add Attck on armour and ring or necklace properties on pants, gloves etc.

Item mismatch does cause broken attributes. Take this for an example.

If Wolfreck Armor was got into the place of Ysolde Axe - then the attribute that was supposed to come onto the axe will now be on the armor. Like you said - additional attack on the armor.

The name was in chinese. I get rather different outputs whenever I try to convert it to English. I'll let you in on the constant name once I verify it myself.

It's a hidden NPC. 1466 or something like that. But then the bytes need to be edited from 2a to 3c. So that the number re-arranges itself and it shows up.

ahh yes....i was able to solve the 'broken attribute' prob...but still the items dont show up on wearing...ie if i wear the helmet the char becomes 'headless' i mean im able to see through and through the char...happens for all the equips including armour gloves pants etc...i use tian tian client...is that causing the problem ?

The First 5.00 File Release:

It will take quite sometime for the whole set of files to be released but I decided to release the ASD 7770 part of the server files.

Here is the link: A3 Server 5.00 ASD 7770.rar - Developed by iNs@nE

The above launcher is a totally bug fixed DB Run Tool for A3 Server 5.00
It is also backwards compatible with the 2.02 server files and CAN be used with them.

I will release the 5.00 Databases shortly and this DB Tool can be used to run them after restoring them in SQL. This run tool can be used for all three of the databases 7770, 8880 and 9990 just by replacing the Login202 in the TDB.ini file by NEWASD.

Here is a screenshot explaining some of the new features of the new DB Run Tool:
