Introduction

True Roleplay first opened its doors back in the early years of September 2007, before finally setting up its website and community forum in January 2008. True Roleplay has grown considerably throughout the seven years that it has been established and is now home to a vibrant community with a mix of different individuals, personalities, characters and groups.

True Roleplay prides itself as being a middle ground amongst the handful of large roleplay servers where many players often struggle to find a place to fit in, especially with many large player based servers failing to provide its players with the necessary roleplay support and encouragement that many individuals wish to receive in order to flourish. Anybody with an ounce of common sense, basic English skills and basic roleplay knowledge can effortlessly find friends at True Roleplay and make a name for themselves.

As with many high quality servers we enforce a set of strict roleplay standards yet we offer a friendly and lenient approach with new players who may need a little more assistance. We have a dedicated team who provide regular daily tours to new individuals who wish to learn and enjoy an environment full of opportunity.

Staff Team

Here at True Roleplay we have many dedicated teams that have been made up from our own player base. It is their job to ensure the running of our community is as smooth and as fun as possible for everyone. The teams you can discover are; Senior Admins, Admins, Moderators and Mappers. All teams work actively and strive to work together to maintain a friendly and balanced community.

Senior Administrators

Manage and oversee the community, setting the direction and the rules. The Senior Administration currently consists of four people, each being responsible for a specific server area.

Administrators

Our 7 Admins, are individuals that have been within the community for over a year and have been handpicked for activity, neutrality and knowledge enforce the rules and ensure the server runs smoothly day by day.

Moderator Team

Our Moderator team are effectively general purpose support staff, whose duties consist of;

• Proactively contacting people who are new and assisting them with valuable information to help new players get started, and get settled in as quickly as possible.
• Assisting the Administration team by policing our forums to ensure that the guidelines are followed, and that our forums are a friendly place to post and view.
• Assisting players or groups of players who wish to start a faction. They ensure that all factions receive the support they need to establish themselves, and that they meet the standards we expect on True Roleplay. They're also responsible for reviewing unofficial factions and suggesting which factions should receive official status.

Mapping Team

We also have a dedicated Mapping Team that handles daily requests by players to decorate their houses and create custom and unique interiors.

Development Team

Our Development team are responsible for bringing in new and exciting features to the community, whilst also tackling bugs and making script amendments to benefit factions and the community.

Jobs & Factions

The True Roleplay economy is carefully managed and regulated. There is a capped amount of money on the server yet still there is a list of jobs and side missions to make sure people who put the time in are rewarded accordingly.

We've recently conducted a major revamp of jobs on True Roleplay. We currently have a Mechanic Job, Farmer Job, Road Sweeper, Fisherman, Trucking, Pizza Delivery and Lawn Mower which all provide players with a strong source of income if you are willing to work! Most of our jobs also have a level of progression to it, meaning the more experience you gain with the job, the greater your pay becomes, or you may be able to take on new roles within that job!

Factions play an essential part in any server and factions are incredibly important to True Roleplay. This is why our Moderation team are here assist anybody in creating and developing their own faction with guidance and support on the road to becoming official!

We have various legal and illegal factions running at the moment, with plenty of opportunities for new players to get involved and become a member! Establishing and setting up factions is also a quick process - as long as you're settled in with the community, actively providing quality roleplay and have an attractive member count - you're able to apply to start a faction of your own!

Access to firearms and drugs are given out to registered factions based on a points system. The more active and successful a faction is, the more points they will receive to then spend on perks which also include extra commands, extra benefits and more for members.

Our script is unique. We do not steal ideas from other communities and we build features in our own style, with many thanks to the great suggestions provided by our community. To summarize, we have some of the following at True Roleplay:

• Player UCP which isn't a requirement to use or sign up on, you can transfer money offline and manage various character aspects.
• A fully custom weapon, fighting and damage script which brings a better degree of realism. Weapons are visible on the ground if dropped and can be picked up, and stored in various places.
• Property system which allows players to own multiple houses, businesses and vehicles. All vehicles are ingame unless towed, they don't disappear / despawn / explode.
• A mapping system which allows our mapping team to get custom interiors and projects ingame. Players can request their own mapping to enhance their gameplay. There are over 100 beautiful custom interiors ingame.
• Progression in jobs which allow you to earn a better position and get paid more, such as mechanic work, farming, fishing or park maintenance.
• A strong faction & "OOC Group" system, which allows for membership management and private chat from day 1.
• A developed drug system which allowed for planting, production and distribution of drugs, drug equipment and raw ingredients.

Events & Community

We take pride in having a regular schedule with regards to player organised events. The property administrators work with business owners to reward them for opening regularly. Clubs, bars and casinos open very often, so you will always be able to meet new people, along with a wide variety of roleplay employment opportunities such as bar work, DJing, card counting and more!
