HC HABBO: History.

HC Habbo was originally a fansite directed towards Habbo back at around 2009, that's when the original founder and owner, Ben, decided to launch a hotel using the same name. The hotel was doing great for several years. We reached up to a hundred daily users online. But just as pretty much any hotel, the community lacked interest in the hotel and moved on. So did Ben, HC Habbo was shut down and left untouched for several years. While the hotel was up and running however, the management team was able to satisfy its consisting players, every one had a great time back in the days. After the hotel was untouched for all these years, Ben and I, Luicy decided to give it another attempt. Therefore, moving on to the next section.​

HC HABBO: Present.

As the revive of HC Habbo was being constructed, our goal has always been the same. HC Habbo's goal was to give the community we're building- a good time. Whether it's being a competition for the players or not, our goal stays the same. We do aim for a high playerbase, yet, our main thought is about you. We will do anything to keep you satisfied with the hotel. The current management team consists of 2 persons only. Luicy and Ben. Both me and Ben, has got years of experience with communities, game servers and managements. Switching from games to games, we've learnt everything you need to know to run a successful community- again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the server for HC Habbo located? Will I be lagging if I live (far away)?​

The servers of HC Habbo are located differently, this varies directly through our four servers. However, due to the fact that our servers are constructed to be strong, protecting and fast, speed shouldn't be an issue for anyone. Our servers has been handpicked and constructed by ourselfs for a design to work world-wide. Since we've got four servers, you might also wonderful meanwhile, what is everything for and is it actually essential? Our main servers are used for (seperately) our client emulator, our website engine, our database, our client reverse proxy and lastly, our HTTP reverse proxy. They are indeed essential due to security issues that I'd rather not go out with to the public. The simple answer is: you will not lag no matter where you are geographicly located.

Why would I ever choose HC Habbo over something else?!​

Frankly, the most repetitive and constructive answer to this question is that the management team of HC Habbo has years of experience in the world of internet and social gaming platforms. We strive every day to be able to have a community that's having fun with eachother and generally just enjoying their stay at us. Every day, counts as a work day for our developers. They work everyday to improve on the hotel to prove to our community that we're worth staying for.

Are you hiring?​

"Are you hiring?", that's one of the most frequently asked question. So I'm just gonna leave it out plain open: Yes. We are hiring staff. However, by hiring - we do not support the method of having people asking for a moderation or administration rank. We find that a staff position should be something you should work for, something you should prove you're able to manage as a normal player. The management team has however made a special event that may only happen once in a lifetime, under the first month of uptime, we're requesting people that who may be experienced with moderation and administration to come forward to us and show us that you want this position. This is only due to the administration and moderation team only consists out of Luicy and Ben.

When was HC Habbo re-launched? (present)​

HC Habbo was officialy launched as version 0.9.0-BETA on the 2nd of February 2018. The development and management team did not have quite a lot of time to prepare for the launch. Therefor, it's been a slow first week for our launch. However, just like always, we've got no intentions of closing down anytime soon. We're growing day by day even though the development of the hotel takes up the management's most time. (see previous q/a).

While we've already gone through a bit of the history, present and just a little peak of the future, we tend to have a lot of features and speciality community events in the future. However these are things we'd rather keep secret for a community 'hype' emotion feeling. Sorry!​

FEATURE: Habbo Club levels!
One feature that we've just implemented is the so called, Habbo Club levels. Habbo Club is a way to display your knowledge of the hotel as well as a way to spend your time on fun activities. This feature consists out of 2 bars in the client, first one being the "Experience points" one. This always displays your current amount of experience points together with a line displaying how much EXP you require to level up. Whenever you level up, you get a reward. This reward is often a badge, money or duckets. You get differently rewards per level. To level up and gain experience points, you do several activities on the hotel. For one being unlocking achievements, another being chatting, buying a furniture, and so on.​

FEATURE: Live-stream radio!
Just like many others, we've got our very own live streamed radio with its client radio player perfectly functionally. Not to mention, we are also looking to hire radio managers! (DJs)​

SPECIALITY: Website Template and engine from scratch!
That's right, we've taken the time to program our very own website template and engine offering not a lot of features so far, but a hint is, it's being worked on secretly! The one who waits for something good, never waits too long.​
