First of all, I will save you from the wall of text by skipping the part where I tell you how awesome our server, ideas and everything is. We certainly have some stuff you haven't seen before and many other things that have proven their worth in the past. The only promise regarding stability, bug fixing, etc. is that we will try our best to make it work as it's supposed to. Only a fool would promise that everything will go smoothly and exactly the way it was planned. In the past this project has been called Januera and Electus (Reborn excluded). Hope you will have fun in the beta as well as in the real deal!

SoX and Coins

There are four types.

Seal of Star = Last tier +1. Droppable from 90-100 level mobs and uniques.
Seal of Alphard = Last tier +2. Droppable from Job Battleground elites and strong uniques.
Seal of Moon = Last tier +3. Purchased with coins and gold.
Seal of Sun = Last tier +4. Purchased with coins and gold, also requires a Soul of Araxion.

SoS and SoA are tradeable, SoM and Sun are not. SoA and SoM have increased reinforce values on weapons.

Coins:

• Rusted coins are needed for purchasing SoM and Sun items and are obtained via jobbing. They cannot be traded.
• Platinum coins are also needed for purchasing SoM and Sun, but can be used to purchase other useful and unique things as well. They can be obtained via hunting uniques, elites, and by participating in various activities such as Gladiator and Battle arena. They cannot be traded.
• Activity tokens are used for purchasing various silk items and can be obtained from events and uniques. They can be traded.
• Soul of Araxion is not actually a coin. It's a rare drop from tough uniques, which is needed for buying Sun. It can be traded.

Socket Stones

We have created 18 different socket stones which can be applied on weapons, shields and different parts of your gear. These stones can be obtained from any unique and are tradeable. They can fail and have multiple outcomes. To open a socket slot, you need purchase "Magic Stone of Sockets" from the Araxion shop and open the slot on your item via socket alchemy. A removal scroll can be bought with gold (note that it also removes the actual socket slot and you will need to reactivate it).

• Normal items don't have any socket slots available.
• SoS items have 1 slot on weapon and the main body parts.
• SoA items have 2 slots on weapon, 1 slot on shield and 1 slot in every armour part.
• SoM & Sun items have 2 slots on weapon, main body armour parts and 1 slot on shield, shoulders, hands, boots and accessories.

As we love mysteries here on Araxion, there won't be a full list of all their names and effects. That's left for the players to discover!

Grinding Areas & Uniques

Arabian coast and desert are open. The uniques of this area drop socket stones, Platinum coins, Activity tokens and have chance to drop SoA items.

  • Monsters Level: 90 ~ 95.
  • Uniques: Karkadann & Mad General.

Party monsters are enabled.

Bone Roc is a "global" unique which can spawn at any unique spawnspot excluding Baghdad. It's hard to beat and has great loot, such as socket stones, Platinum coins, SoA items & A LOT of Activity tokens.

• All regular uniques have altered spawnspots - up to 70 different locations each.
• Demon Shaitan can drop Platinum coins, whereas lower ones only drop Activity tokens.
• All regular uniques have chance to drop SoS items and socket stones.
• All uniques above level 90 have chance to drop SoA items.
• JG tomb is closed.
• Constantinople and Samarkand are open but trading in the area is disabled.
• FGW is disabled.

Jobbing

First of all, there are 2 "special routes" for the best profits. One of them starts from the location showed in the picture below. Other one is left for the players to find.​

• General Info
  • The maximum job level is now 20.
  • Titles are Guardian for top hunter, Financier for top trader and Kleptomaniac for the top thief.
  • Daily coin limit is 60. Weekly coin limit is 200.
  • Traders make the highest amount of gold and the lowest amount of coins.
  • Traders do not get punished for having more hunters in their party. In fact, having 2 or more hunters in the party will boost your coin rate.
  • Hunters make the lowest amount of gold and the highest amount of coins.
  • Hunters with 7 traders don't make any more coins than those being in party with another hunter and 6 traders.
  • Thieves make something that is in between traders' and hunters' gold and coin gains. Smart thieves make more than not so smart ones, and there's that thing called "luck" as well.
  • Thieves have to be in a party of 4-8 players to gain coins. Coin amounts stay the same as long as you have at least 4 players. Any less and you will only get gold.
  • Profits - On Araxion we aim to keep prices reasonable. You cannot fully prevent inflation but you can slow it down.
    When item prices in the store are set right, there is no need to make crazy profits, it only increases silk prices more rapidly.
    If you feel like you're not getting enough gold as a Trader, try Hunting or Thieving and make a lot less.
  • Stacks amount is 5 and 5* costs 50m.
  • Penalty is 12 hours and can be removed with a scroll.
• Honor Buffs
  
  Buffs are distributed to the 15 best of their classes. You can get into the top list by reaching a high level but also by killing others while in job mode. 15 best are rewarded with attack rating buff, 10 best get the speed boost, 5 best get the 5% dmg/absorb, 1st of each rank gets the king buff. This means a total of 90 players can have some sort of a buff.

• Job Battleground
  
  We decided it's time to have a bigger, more open area to hunt mobs, uniques and fight the opposing job. Whole Baghdad is dedicated for this. Thief side is on the far west, hunters and traders have the city. You can find the teleporter in Hotan between Accessory Shop & Protector Shop. There are multiple access points (teleports) to the area on both sides, some closer to the base, some further away. You can't use these teleports to go back out. Also, you will find your instant return and reverse scrolls won't work in job mode. So you will either have to use a regular return scroll to leave this area or die trying.
  
  There will be several uniques spawning in this area:
  
  All of them have multiple spawn locations.
  
  There will also be strong Elite mobs wandering around which have a low chance to drop Seal of Alphard items and Platinum coins. They also have high drop rates for elixirs and stones. They are passive, but once you hit them, there's no going back. You will also find that it will be hardly profitable to try to bot here because they don't spawn very close to each other, respawn times are long and they hit very hard too. Not to mention that other people will be looking for you in hopes of increasing their kill count.
  
  There might also be a few secrets hidden in this place
  • Thief Boss Kalia - The strongest unique, spawns in the middle area.
  • Dhampir - Spawns mainly in the middle area and more often than Kalia.
  • Geenie - Spawns mainly in the middle area and more often than Kalia.
  • Giant Demon - Spawns mainly in the middle area and more often than Kalia.
  • Kidemonas - Spawns mainly in the middle area and more often than Kalia.

• Wanted Hero Mode
  
  
  Our wanted system works a bit differently. After 10 kills you obtain the status and you can no longer store, exchange or drop your gold. The status will last 10 minutes and the counter will be resetted if you kill more players. Upon death you will lose up to 5% of your total gold but not more than 40m. It will also be removed from your storage. Killer receives the "bounty".
  
  
  Hero Wanted Skill boosts your stats, damage absorption & attack power.
  • Hero Wanted Lv1 Requires 10 kills or more.
  • Hero Wanted Lv2 Requires 20 kills or more.
  • Hero Wanted Lv3 Requires 30 kills or more.
  • Hero Wanted Lv4 Requires 40 kills or more.

Scrolls & Extras

• Reverse scroll's cooldown is 20 seconds and it is disabled in job mode.
• Instant return scroll is also disabled in job mode.
• Available special scrolls:
  • Silk scrolls - Can be activated to gain 100, 250, 500, 1000 or 2500 silks.
  • Name change - Can be used to change your character's name.
  • Socket remover - Can be used to remove sockets.
  • Premium remover - Removes your premium and the experience boosts.
  • Model switcher - Can be used to switch to change items' look to another degree. Place the item into the first slot of your inventory before activating the scroll.
  • Type switcher - Can be used to switch the type of SoM and Sun items so you don't need to collect a new set to try a different build. Place the item into the first slot of your inventory before activating the scroll.
  • Skill reset - Resets all your skills.
  • Stat reset - Resets your stat points and the skills which require INT or STR to open.
  • Job penalty remover - Removes your job penalty instantly.
  • Guild penalty remover - Removes your guild penalty instantly.
  • 105% speed - Gives you 105% movement speed for 24 hours.

Automatic Events & Other Features

• Capture The Flag
  • Time: Every 2 hours.
  • How to sign up: Through Event So-Ok NPC.
  • Location: Capture The Flag event area.
  • Objective: Kill the opposing team members and steal the flag.
  • Restrictions: Level 100. You cannot go AFK for longer than 60 seconds, otherwise you will be removed from the event.
  • Reward: 1 Cup per kill. They can be exchanged for Activity tokens at the event NPC (3 for 1).
• Battle Arena (Party, Job & Guild. CTF style BA is disabled.)
  • Time: Every 3 hours.
  • How to sign up: Through the Event Manager NPC.
  • Location: Battle Arena.
  • Objective: Win the match by killing more monsters than the other team.
  • Restrictions: Level 90. You cannot go AFK for longer than 60 seconds, otherwise you will be removed from the event.
  • Reward: 3 Platinum coins for the winners, 1 for the losers.
• Trivia Event
  • How it works: Our bot will write a question or a scrambled word via global and waits for your answers.
  • Time: Every 20 minutes.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: -
  • Objective: Be the fastest to answer correctly.
  • Restrictions: You can answer via global chat (10 second delay) or private chat (20 second delay).
  • Reward: 30 silk
• Lucky Party Number
  • How it works: Our bot will write a number which is selected randomly from a certain range depending on number of the last formed party.
  • Time: Once per hour during day time.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: -
  • Objective: Create a party that matches the lucky party number.
  • Restrictions: -
  • Reward: 80 silk
• Last Man Standing
  • How it works: Everyone will be recalled to the mentioned location with auto-equipped yellow cape.
  • Time: 2 times per day.
  • How to sign up: PM [Bot]LMS with "Register" to join. You will be informed if the registration was successful and teleported to the event location before the start.
  • Location: Donwhang closed area.
  • Objective: Stay alive and be the last man standing.
  • Restrictions: Parties are disabled and you cannot go AFK for longer than 60 seconds. Reverse scrolls are disabled.
  • Reward: 8 Platinum coins & 250 silk
• Hide & Seek
  • How it works: A bot will hide in a random location on the whole map.
  • Time: Every 1,5 hours during day time.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: Anywhere.
  • Objective: Be the first one to exchange the bot to win.
  • Restrictions: -
  • Reward: 120 silk
• Bot killer
  • How it works: Our bot will spawn on the mentioned location with yellow cape equipped. There will be 3 rounds.
  • Time: 4 times per day.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: Donwhang, outside south gate.
  • Objective: Deal the killing blow in order to win.
  • Restrictions: Red cape needs to be equipped to able to win.
  • Reward: 150 silk
• Alchemy Event
  • How it works: Our bot will spawn in the mentioned location and start dropping random low degree +6 items.
  • Time: 2 times per day.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: Donwhang, outside east gate.
  • Objective: Be the first one to fuse +10.
  • Restrictions: -
  • Reward: 250 silk
• Search & Destroy
  • How it works: A unique will spawn in a random location around the whole map.
  • Time: 4 times per day.
  • How to sign up: Not required.
  • Location: Anywhere.
  • Objective: Kill the unique.
  • Restrictions: -
  • Reward: Unique drops 40 Activity tokens.
• Weekly Automatic PVP
  • Time: Every Saturday. *Enabled once players have geared up.

  • Location: Survival desert.
  • Objective: Reach the highest K/D ratio to win.
  • Restrictions: Parties are disabled.
  • Reward: 8 Platinum coins & 200 silk
• Bounty PVP
  • How it works: Once the opponent accepts the deal, both of you will get teleported to an arena and the gold amount will be taken from you.
  • Time: -
  • How to sign up: You have to send a message to [Bot]BPVP1 ~ 4 with "OpposingName goldAmount".
  • Location: Fight Arena.
  • Objective: You have to win 2 rounds of 3.
  • Restrictions: Job suits must be taken off before the deal, outside buffing is disabled.
  • Reward: The total gold amount which been taken from both players.
  • Note: You can block any spammer by sending "block spammerName" to [Bot]BPVP1 ~ 4 or to unblock send "unblock name". Also, you can watch an event by sending "watch" to the correct Bot name.

• Gladiator Event
  • How it works: Your party and the opposing party will be moved to the arena instance before the battle begins.
  • Time: 2 times per day.
  • How to sign up:
  • Location: Survival arena
  • Objective: Beat the opposing party.
  • Restrictions:
  • Reward: 5 Platinum coins, tie 2 coins, losing party 0 coins
  • Limits: Up to 100 parties can join. We can add extra instances if needed.

• Lottery Event
  
  There will also be manually held events by the GM which will have their appropriate notices.
  • How it works: You have to buy lottery tickets during the period and the bot will randomly select the winner on the mentiond time.
  • Time: Once a day.
  • How to sign up: Buy ticket(s) from the Araxion shop.
  • Location:
  • Objective: Get lucky!
  • Restrictions: -
  • Reward: Varies

• Other Features
  
  
  There might even be more features later, so keep an eye on the thread for new ones.
  • Permanent Buffs: Our autobuff feature will keep your buffs on in every situation, making your life much easier.
  • Title Switching: With this feature you can switch between the titles you have been granted. You just have to PM [Bot]Titles with "my titles" and you will be given a list of your titles. Just pick the desired title from the list and send it to the bot.
  • Global Item Linking: Full instructions will come later.
  • Delays: Stall, exchange and exit delays are enabled to prevent abuse.

Fortress War & Guilds

• PC Limit during fortress war is 1.
• Structures are edited for better balance.
• Jangan, Hotan, Bandit and Constantinople are available.
• New fortress war flags - Panic, Blunting and more.
• The amount of players receiving the flag's effect has been altered.

Like stated in the main specs, Guilds start at level 5, have 40 slots and you can have 2 guilds in union together. The penalty for leaving guild is 24 hours.
Penalty can be removed with a scroll.​

Skill Balance

• Chinese
  • Hybrid Power
    Choosing 100 fire and light will open up a new magical damage increase skill. Useful for both, STR and INT hybrids and also "chinese wizards" or just a crazy max DPS INT build with no defence.
  • Chinese Dual Synergy and Bowers
    Glaive/Blade has been the ultimate choice before. We have decided to improve the two other options. Bowers have access to KD via Autumn Wind
    -Sweeping for better synergy with Bicheon. Of course a regular Bower can use this to escape, interrupt or catch a running target. However, without Bicheon you won't have anything to hit them with while they are on ground. Bowers have also gained a boost to their passive, giving them more crit, which will boost your effectiveness as a dual glaive/bow build, as well as the regular bow builds.
• Other Chinese Power Ups and Changes
  • Weapon:
    • Bicheon Force series offers more damage boost.
    • Stabs have higher critical increase.
    • Lightning Chain has been dedicated to STR builds and it can aggro mobs (Bladers can tank succesfully), debuffs have been reworked so that STR doesn't have access to impotent.
    • Thousand Army Chain has been dedicated to INT builds and has more useful debuffs than before.
    • Anti Devil and Strong Bow have higher critical boosts.
    • Arrow Combos cannot be spammed for constant KB.
  • Force:
    • Flame body series, Flame Devil Force and piercing force series have higher values.
    • Snow shield requires certain amount of INT, hybrids can still get it though.
    • Cold nuke and imbue damages are higher.
    • Cold Wave will now freeze your opponent for a short moment.
    • Fire and Ice walls have higher cooldown.
    • Lightning provides the same movement speed as the best purchaseable option.
    • Force has access to group resurrection.
    • Force Cure and Cure Therapy have shared cooldowns.
• European
  • Cleric:
    • Holy Spell will no longer fully protect you.
    • Reverse Immolation is removed.
    • STR & INT buffs are weakened.
    • STR builds don't have access to physical defense passive for LA.
    • Physical and Magical defence buffs match the chinese ones.
    • Healing Orbit max level is decreased and shares cooldown with Healing Cycle.
    • Healing Cycle has longer cooldown, lower recovery and shares cooldown with Healing Orbit.
    • Bless Spell has shorter duration and longer cooldown.
    • Innocent and Integrity have shared cooldown and the cooldown is longer.
  • Warrior:
    • Physical and magical Fences are removed.
    • Physical and magical Screens are removed.
    • Ultimate Screen has shorter duration and longer cooldown.
    • Iron Skin & Mana Skin have shorther duration and longer cooldown.
    • Pain Quota's effective distance is reduced.
    • Sprint Assault has lower stun probability.
    • Turn Rising has lower KD probability.
    • Daredevil has lower KB probability and longer cooldown.
    • Shield Trash/Crush has lower KB probability.
    • Axe's defensive passive is weakened.
  • Wizard:
    • Earth Quake, Blizzard and Charged Squall all hit up to 4 targets.
    • Life Turnover is slightly weakened.
  • Warlock:
    • STR builds cannot pick Warlock mastery.
    • Reflect Skill's return ratio has been lowered drastically.
    • Debuffs have longer cooldown.
  • Rogue:
    • Crossbow Extreme's damage boost is lower.
    • Dagger Desperate's damage boost is lower.
    • stick's damage is decreased.
    • Scud's speed boost is lower and it's applied on existing buffs.
  • Bard:
    • Bard's overall damage is increased.
    • Booming Wave can KB and has bigger radius in order to catch other players better. Don't forget to move away from others if you want to land the hardest hit on your opponent.
    • Weird Chord can cause impotent.
    • Tuning Sound deals deals the same absolute damage as Cleric's skills and has high cooldown.
    • Tambours' and Dances' effective radiuses are decreased.

Some Valuable Tips

You often hear people say how wizards or bards cannot do 1v1 PVP and they're only for dmg, buffing, party blabla. This is not fully true, especially here on Araxion. The key for being able to fight against most builds is to add STR, not much, but some. For example, adding 20 STR points, 150 HP on your avatar, you already have about 2k higher HP than a pure INT and some extra physical defense (silk items are included in the calculations). Now, if we measure in some of the socket stone boosts, you can boost your HP and defense even further. All this will cost you around 5% damage. If before you hit 26000 on another player, now the same hit does around 24500. Is that a big deal? You surely still have enough damage to kill that player if you fight smart. With our changes to bard, it's also a viable 1v1 build and might not even require going for hybrid like the wizard because of the tambours. Also warlocks benefit from STR points and due to how their skills work, they can have even more than a wizard or a bard and still remain effective. Lastly, I have to say that my own guild master in isro was a hybrid wizard with around 30 STR points even at 100 cap. He did plenty of pvp and had over 50 Medusa kills to his name. After 120 cap was released, he became the strongest pvp'er in the server due to the added HP & def boost from the new job items. Maybe you don't need to have the absolute maximum damage to be successful? Think about it before you add all your stat points.

  Complex passwords are needed to register. It must contain capital and small letters and numbers or symbols.

  You can use this to lockdown your account if you know you will be gone for
  an extended period of time and want extra protection.
• Ticket System
  Should you need any help, you can write a ticket directly to support team. Much faster and more effective way to contact than trying to do it in game.
• Facebook Login & Register
  You can register on the website with your Facebook account.
• Auction House
  Make the selling process for expensive stuff easier, put it to the Auction House and people will place bids on it.
• Web Storage
  In case your in game storage is full, you can also store items in the web storage.
• Live Support
  Got a serious issue that needs addressing? Write a message to the bot and the support team will see it in
  their chat.
• Forum
  Feel free to voice your opinions here and chat with other players. Come here instead of posting your opinions on the
  spam-filled epvp thread.
• Ranking
  Lists for the top players (uniques, set, guild, alliance, pvp k/d, job k/d, job level).
• Player & Guild Statistics
  You can search for players to see what they are wearing and guilds.
