Installing server files, providing cabal tools, installing website for cabal, etc.

Chumpy... I already buy a server...I know how to created Offline cabal and all success... But i dont know how to configure a network when i remote desktop my server... i create all like i created offline..but i know i need use different IP...but client still can connect.. can u help me?

Server IP (local): 103.8.XXX.XXX
Windows IP: err.. I dont know..i think same as local IP..

In ODBC.ini...what ip i need to use?

I tried many time...but client still wont connect..
DAtabase in server connected and no error...

i try already your guide to stop and delet all files in /var/log ans start the server again..please responce if you have time sir..thank you in advance

Hi!

I have a problem with NAT on VMware (I have modem). When i put it on Bridged the ethernet icon turns green and white , that means is working , but , i have modem , so i need to put it on NAT. When i put it , the ethernet icon stays white , that means it's not working. When i try to login from cabal it's not working (On both bridged and NAT). I need help please...

P.S.: I did all the port forwarding stuff from your guides from mediafire.

@hummingbird Ahm, his guide's are straight forward, and you need to be a lot more polite, honestly! I don't comprehend why you are unable to follow the guide, considering there is pictures. T_T Not trying to be rude or anything.. -Brandon

Hiya Chump, I know you obtain tons of questions each day, and not to mention, you may be sick of Cabal, But I was curious if you would help me with an issue I have. Currently, I was able to login and everything was functioning .. but then, an hour later, I attempted to login, via patched cabal client, and the connection bar would fill until at max, and provide a "Failed to connect to server". Do you happen to know the root of my issue? Thanks in advanced! ~Brandon
