@LastThief - I have not looked at Cabal in years and I barely remember the cash shop code. I will need to install a new copy and remember how it works. Give me a day or two, I have forgotten almost everything about Cabal :/

@bluelagoon - Yes you can install SQL server 2005 on Windows 2008 server. Make sure you update SQL to 2005 SP3 though ;)

@Cancel - I do forums and IRC only. I will never install another messing app again. I still have nightmares about those days.

I doubt I can help, I am struggling to get a server working myself!

Try turning iptables off as the Centos firewall might be blocking you. Type "setup" in a terminal and you should be able to switch it off there an then reboot.

Hey im trying to make a Cabal Server on my Computer.

I know there are alot of threads about the Configuration, but i watched them all and still cant get this to work.


My CentoOs IP is 10.0.2.15 when i do ifconfig on CentOS

And if i try Connecting Using WinSCP im getting a Timeout error.

I even tried Activating DHCP On CentOS.
I even Deactivated my Firewall.

Would u help using teamviewer?

@Extornia - I do plan on making a repack but it will take a little time as I have forgotten a lot about Cabal and I don't know anything about features after Ep3. It will be an interesting learning experience though much like the original Ep2 leak ;)

I can't tell people they aren't allowed to release things and I wouldn't want to. The more people releasing repacks, fixes and new stuff the better!

My inbox stays full. Support requests have never stopped coming in even though I wasn't around and probably can't help these days anyway.

@vahemae14 - the worldsvr can't connect to port 38170 but that is about all I can tell from that snippet. Is globalmgrsvr running?

I've pretty much got it done. It is not as close as TDP's as it only allows config of mssql/ips but it will run out of the box and it gives you a option to choose if you'll do 64 or 32bit installation. Am I allowed to release it? It will make it easier for people, and I don't mind making a few tuts on how to configure them further.

I might be doing a repack with Mundus once we take care of issues at the moment. If you decide to aswell tell me before you do. We can even help each other out perhaps.

I'm not sure I would be a 100% as I have not touched Cabal in years and I did recently state I would not do it. Having seen the state of the files and the troubles people are having since I said that I started building development VMs last night. I'm not promising anything but I will have a poke around.

Sorry Cody, if you knew anything about me you would know I never accept money, I never set servers up for people, and I stopped playing the official Cabal when they released ep3 as I hated it.

1. I have never accepted money. My work on Cabal was because I wanted to learn, not because I wanted money.
2. If you can't set it up you won't know how to run it. Which means I am. Every day until the server closes.
3. Every version after ep2 was worse.

Post something in the support section (with logs) and I will take a look. Others probably know much more than me these days but sometimes I surprise these whippersnappers.

i am willing to pay you if you can help me get my cabal server online to the public i have everything ready i just cant get me centos to ping my physical machine my physical machine is 192.168.1.2 and i need my centos to be 192.168.1.4 and i cant seem to get it to go through when i ping 192.168.1.2 on my vm centos i will pay you will all the donation money that i recive from the server and i would love to have you as a admin or gm on my server if you can help please pm me back or email me at whitfield.e.cody@gmail.com
