So you rage on my user wall? And if my pros/cons made no sense to you, you obviously are just mad that you got shot down (whether or not haters/trolls shot you down is not the point). Everyone else seemed the understand the logic behind it just fine, because it makes sense. The odds of something bad happening to the database (back-up or not) are far higher than if it were to happen to a txt document. Not to mention it's far less stressful on the already abused (for lack of better word) SQL server and infact the server, making database connections every second is far worse than making a quick txt printout every 20 minutes or so. And I could go on about my other pros, but since you addressed the SQL part the most, I'll stop there. Calm down.
