You have to install IE7 or IE8 with wine, preferably IE7. PWI needs certain thing from IE to function for some reason. good luck!

Did you add your Ip address to the gm_ip.ini config file?

Did you make sure your Login Server is listening on port 5051? If you are running the server behind a router or modem there will be problems for outside connections reaching your server. Not sure if that has been rectified or not with the newer server files.
