Maybe make something that Shows the status of your serial (COM) ports on screen. Shows the bit rate, parity, status of the leads (DTR, DSR, etc.). An excellent way to troubleshoot modem problems(can be useful for some users)

You have probably missed a number/letter in the hex thing. Double check it to see if u hexed it right
