Good night, what I'm trying to do basically is to get information from the database, edit it and send it back, for example from the inventory I use the "Character" table and the "Inventory" column, making a query:

SELECT Inventory FROM Character WHERE AccountID = 'FewID'

I'm going to bring the binary code of how this inventory compares, both the armor part (Helm, Boots, Armor, Gloves, Wings, Pets, Ring's, Pendant).

Here's what I get if the character has the empty inventory:

The code that is in red is an item that is in the personal store.

What I want to do is get all the binary code to a PHP variable, that I already have it done, what I can not understand is how I can get to edit that variable, adding the code of an item that I would like to add to your inventory , Without anything being erased and having enough space to enter without problems.

The problem is that in a php variable I do not take it as a string.Then I can not edit it.

And the other problem is that you do not know how many spaces the item needs to enter the inventory in the right place.
Better explained:

FFFFFF -> empty

0201635 -> Item code

The number of numbers in the item code means the space that will occupy in the inventory?

Another question What I try to do is get a PHP variable all the string (binary) and put an item in the inventory where there is place to enter.

You have done an extract from the inventory and you want to edit and save a portion back to the database?

What do you use PHP? (2,5,7, ...)
What do you use the connection? (PDO, MSSQL, sqlsrv _ ...)

Otherwise, the listing would have done differently.

PHP:

I worked a lot with php on the hexa codes.

1st of all you need to know how long is your table column, than cut in rows after 32, than you need to create a table where you store the item index and item codes (Like item.txt)

If you are done, than you need to convert the item code into hexaand check the 1st 8 bit of the 32 bit long string. 1st 8 bit is the itemcode, than 6 bit is the random stuff (which makes your item custom, so non of another items will be on the same id) than options and extra FFFF to make the 32 bit size.

If you can handle the items, than you can handle the positions,1x32 is one inventory slot etc etc

if you have built everything than you can generate a script which can read your items in the inventory, display with nice view as webshops are doing, and than you have your own script to build anything item based stuff.
