What do you think of a ajax forum shoutbox for a little bit small talk?
This would help for a living appearance in the forum. When this causes too much Spam it could be only enabled for 1k+ posters as well as subs.

It will cause a huge load on the server, it's not possible because it'll overload the server.
Even if it's restricted to a specific group, a chatbox/shoutbox refreshes the chats every 2 seconds or even less.

How about separate host for shoutbox? and migrate accs there(if wont take 5 years) + modify register to add account there as well, or simply will require create new one?
