Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. Ability to set defaults for "Miscellaneous Options"...

I would like to suggest ability to set defaults for "Miscellaneous Options" in the editor.
Like for example disabling "Automatically parse links in text" by default, etc.
