I've setup a private pre-renewal eAthena TXT server on my PC. I'd like to use it for just casual solo play, offline, just for a bit of a nostalgia trip. The server seems to work fine. The map server, char server, and log server windows all pop up and do their thing without any errors.
What I'm not sure of is how to get a client (in English) setup to connect to it. I've searched around the forums here and elsewhere but there's just loads of broken links and badly written instructions.
I think I need to download the kRO client, patch it to English somehow(?), and then change the ip address to 127.0.0.1... but I can't seem to get this to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
