how to create a new Monster with a new skin?

Hey together =)
I just saw how to edit the monster files but there was no Thread about creating a new one.
So maybe its just a little error.

So i did the following.

I took the inf and zhoon file from Cyclops, copied it and renamed the new one.
Then i edited the new ones.

changed the name of the used zhoon file in the last line of the inf.
And for sure i edited the name in the zhoon file.

Everything worked fine till now.

Now heres the point.

i made a new folder in char\monster folder of my monster (including all the cyclops files)
and changed the path to the ini file in the inf file.

(like this "char\monster\newcyclops\MonCyclops-f.INI")

I also copied the char\monster\newcyclops files to the client folder.

And when i try to cal the monster my server crashes.



I dont know whats up with those ini files. can't find them anywhere. Do i have to change something in the client exe or server exe?

Would be nice if someone could give me a little hint =)

open up ur ini file... there are things to change in there also. Things like folder directory, monster directory and etc. You cant just change the zhoon files onli.

i also changed the path to the new folder. But i got always dv when i try to call it.
I think i must add the new monster in the game.exe But i have no idea where to look ^^

Sorry for the double post now. but i need to bmup up this topic. Im still confused about monsters.

So maybe anyone can help or give me a link to a topic like this (Cause i havent found one due searching)

I give you an example for 1 Monster i tried to do.

Dark Mech:

Creating the Monster itselfs with Mechanican Spirit Skin.

Copy the d_meca.inf from Gameserver/Monster and change it.
Create a Zhoon File which is linked in the inf file.

The Monster works of course.

Now the tricky Part.

i want to copy the Mechanican Spirit skin and colour it so that i have 2 skins.

One for the Dark Mech (colored one) and the Dark Mech (orginal one)

Now what ive done before.

I copied the whole d_meca folder and made another folder named z_meca

First try:

then i edited dmeca.inx with an hex editor i changed all the d_meca into z_meca.
Ive also done this with dmeca.smd.

Of course i changed the line in the GameServer\Monster\dark_meca.inf into
