Hey guys.

I wanted to share one of my favorite gangster real stories film I've watched so far.

Starring Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci and the well-known Robert De Niro. If you guys love legit gangster/mobs movies, you gotta watch this one. As the young Henry craves for the wise-guy's life of being feared by everyone, you see the talented young man growing up with his new family ran by the godfather Paulie. It's a really heart warming story, and to know it's a real story makes it even better.

Here's the trailer

And here's the one VERY famous scene by Joe Pesci, you've probably heard of this one

Re: The goodfellas

Old one but still a good one.

Hint: Might want to add tags to your Title...:)

Re: The goodfellas

This film is excellent, watched it too many times. You should also check out the director of Goodfellas other films: Casino, The Departed. They're all in the Gangster/Crime genre.

Scorsese, yes. He's absolutely the best when it comes to gangster movies, the Departed is a masterpiece, putting together Matt Damon and DiCaprio in a gangster movie is genius. I'm looking forward in watching Casino, as I'd love to see another performance of Joe Pesci.

Another suggestion if you like this film, you should also give A Bronx Tale, a try its directed by Robert De Niro.

He directs this in a similar style to Martin Scorsese.

I plan to watch it eventually, just for the young Tony Sirico and Lorraine Braco! Too much Sopranos methinks :p:

edit - why does Ray Liotta look like he's always wearing eyeliner?

You will enjoy this film for sure! Considering you've watched The Sopranos. :):

Also, Don't you think Ray Liotta's laugh is also really weird. lol.
