Finding the right client version for your DIY mir server

Hi People

i am looking at making my own mir server like everyone else

if i use the 2.3 server files do i need to use the 2.3 client? to match versions?

where can i download the client?

or even better does anyone have a working download for the correct client with matching server files so i cant go wrong

i am currently downloading from the gamespot usa & Mir Resource but i am unsure what version is what at the moment

i have the 2.3 client just need a place to download the 2.3 server files....really i want the originals with no changes so i can have an original mir
