Basically, my laptop doesn't run in regular mode so I have to boot in safe mode. As you are more than likely familiar with, it runs limited services. My iPhone is disabled and requires me to connect to iTunes but I'm unable to do this as the Apple Mobile Device Service doesn't run.

I've read it's possible to force certain services to run (defeating the object of safemode, yes) but this is urgent! :eek:tt1:

Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction with regards to force starting the Apple Mobile Device Service in Safe Mode on Windows 7?

Kind Regards,
Tyler.

that is if you have Windows 7 , you never specified windows version.

Worked a treat! Thanks ever so much. I found a few things like this but they didn't quite explain how to edit the registry, whereas this one did.

Windows button > Type in services.msc in bottom box > right click and enable or disable, start or stop.

Incase you hadn't quite grasped what I posted, Safe mode doesn't allow you start/stop periphery services.

Problem solved, thank you mucski.
